• The Bible is God's word to mankind. It was written by human authors who were led by the Holy Spirit. It is the source of truth. Because God inspired it, it is without error in all parts.
  • There is one living and true God, revealed in nature as Creator, Preserver, and Righteous Governor of the universe; and in the Scriptures as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; yet as one God, infinitely wise and good, whom all intelligent creatures are supremely to love, adore, and obey.
  • Jesus is God made known to us in human form. He is fully God and fully man. He is not subordinate in any way to the Father. He is coequel with the Father. He lived a sinless life and was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of everyone by dying on the cross. He rose again and has defeated sin and death. He is the eternal Savior. He rose to Heaven and will come back to claim His followers and reign as the King of all Kings.
  • The Holy Spirit is God. The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son. He is the Comforter that Jesus promised the disciples. At the moment a person places faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit becomes a part of their life.
  • God created man in a state of innocence. Man, being tempted by Satan, yielded and willfully disobeyed God, becoming a sinner and incurring God's judgement upon sin. All of Adam's descendants inherit his fallen nature and thus have a natural inclination to sin. When one comes to an age of accountability, he is guilty of sinning before God and is in need of salvation.
  • Salvation is a free gift from God to man. Man can never make up his sin by self improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
  • Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existance.
